Studio Profile Interactive Wallpaper TM was formed in 2002 by Rachel Kelly to develop and manufacture bespoke wallpaper,
predominantly for the interior design market and private commission. Rachel has since extended the Studio portfolio to include
production wallpaper designs and an innovative pattern product collection.ClientsBBCMC Living, Japan The Zetter Hotel,

TM has consistently attracted critical acclaim from its beginnings, being described as innovative, modern and elegant.
Interactive Wallpaper TM was awarded Best New Wall Covering Design, by Elle Decoration in 2002, and has been nominated
for the Elle Decoration Observer Readers Future Design Classic Award, 2004 and won Young Designer of the Year in The Homes and
Garden Classic Design Awards 2005. The link of the design creator to the design user i.e. the customer, has always been at the
forefront of Rachels philosophy. Interactive Wallpaper TM links the user to the maker through interaction with pattern design,
achieving a utilitarian functionality. The signature Interactive Wallpaper concept is a two-stage bespoke wall covering product
consisting off background pattern wallpaper with stick-on pattern pieces to be attached in-situ. The patterned stickers echo the
design of the underlying paper and also contrast with the print to create a visual depth. The final placing of the pattern pieces
and stickers is decided when the wallpaper has been situated to create a bespoke finish specific to each environment.
This appealingly high quality interior design solution ensures exclusivity of the design yet retains the economy of a limited
edition service.Commissions undertaken during 2004 included a brief to devise a surface decoration scheme for management meeting rooms
in the new BBC Media Centre at White City, London. Other commissions include a wallpaper commission for Top Shops new Manchester
store. Nine bespoke designs for The Zetter Restaurant and Rooms in Clerkenwell London. As well as numerous private commissions,
in 2003 /2004 Rachel exhibited at the Crafts Council, The Geffyre Museum, The Victoria & Albert Museum, and the Design Museum
in London, also at Charles Rennie Mackintoshs Hill House in Helensburgh, Scotland and with the British Embassy in Paris.
Background Rachel Kelly was born in Edinburgh and studied printed textile and surface pattern design at Leeds College of
